Ingredients
- 1 tube Pillsbury Grands buttermilk biscuits
- 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/2 C. pancake syrup
- 1/3 C. packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 C. chopped pecans, optional
- 1/4 C. chopped almonds, optional
Directions
- Preheat Oven and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Generously grease a 9- or 10-inch round cake pan.
- Mix Syrup and Butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and pancake syrup. Pour this mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Combine Sugar and Cinnamon: In another bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Prepare Biscuits: Separate the biscuits and cut each into quarters. Roll each piece in the sugar-cinnamon mixture, then arrange in the cake pan on top of the syrup mixture. If using, sprinkle the chopped pecans and almonds over the top.
- Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool in the pan for 1 minute, then invert onto a serving plate.
- Serve Warm: Serve warm for the best taste and texture.
