Ingredients

  • 1 tube Pillsbury Grands buttermilk biscuits
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/2 C. pancake syrup
  • 1/3 C. packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 C. chopped pecans, optional
  • 1/4 C. chopped almonds, optional

Directions

  1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Generously grease a 9- or 10-inch round cake pan.
  2. Mix Syrup and Butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and pancake syrup. Pour this mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Combine Sugar and Cinnamon: In another bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Prepare Biscuits: Separate the biscuits and cut each into quarters. Roll each piece in the sugar-cinnamon mixture, then arrange in the cake pan on top of the syrup mixture. If using, sprinkle the chopped pecans and almonds over the top.
  5. Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool in the pan for 1 minute, then invert onto a serving plate.
  6. Serve Warm: Serve warm for the best taste and texture.
