Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided)
  • 16 ounces large shrimp (peeled, deveined, and tails removed)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 8 ounces fettuccine noodles (dry)
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Parsley (as a garnish)

Directions:

  1. Sauté Shrimp: In a pan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter, add shrimp, and cook until pink. Remove and set aside.
  2. Prepare Alfredo Sauce: In the same pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Sauté garlic and add chicken broth, milk, fettuccine noodles, Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, pepper, and nutmeg.
  3. Simmer: Bring to a simmer and cook until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add Shrimp: Once noodles are cooked, add the cooked shrimp back to the pan and heat through.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
