It tastes like heaven for me and my family. This recipe requires ingredients commonly used in baking. So there is a possibility that you will find it in your kitchen without any hassle. To enjoy the same taste of the original KFC biscuits, be sure to use the exact amounts mentioned.


Ingredients :


– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1½ tsp salt

– 1 tablespoon of sugar

– 4 teaspoons baking powder

– Half a teaspoon of baking soda

– 3 tablespoons of vegetable ghee

– 4 teaspoons butter flavor

– 1 cup butter


Directions :


Step 1: Getting StartedStart by preheating the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Next, grease a baking tray with oil or cooking spray and set aside.


 Step 2: Dry the Ingredients First!Sift the listed amounts of all-purpose flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and baking soda into a large mixing bowl and whisk. Cut the margarine to the size of small peas, and mix until you have coarse crumbs.


Step 3: Knead the doughPour a cup of curd and continue mixing until all the ingredients are well mixed. Don’t worry if the dough is sticky and lumpy at this point. Sprinkle a handful of flour on the countertop and roll the dough. Now gently knead the dough for 10-12 minutes. You may want to re-flour the surface to avoid sticking.


 Step 4: Give it shapeEvenly, divide the mixture in half. Roll each half one by one into an 8-inch by inch-thick circle. Cut 2-inch cookies using a cookie cutter. Put the biscuits in a tray greased with oil.


Step 5: Glaze on topThe biscuit is ready to go into the oven after this step – washing off the milk. Grease the biscuit parts with whole milk. This process creates the appetizing golden color we see, but more importantly it develops the delicious flavor of browned foods.


Step 6: You’re Almost Done!Set a timer for 5 minutes and remove the baking tray on the middle rack of the oven. Take them out when they turn golden brown – crunchy and flaky on top just as you like! The last step is to brush the cooked biscuits with butter immediately after taking them out of the oven.
