Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 400 g Danish feta, at room temperature
  • 125 g cream cheese, at room temperature or 3/4 cup yogurt Use room temperature for best blending
  • 1/4 tsp garlic, crushed
  • 1.5 tsp lemon zest (optional) Enhances flavor
  • 6 tbsp extra virgin olive oil Split into two amounts
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp pistachios, roughly chopped For garnish
  • 1/2 tsp parsley, finely minced For garnish
  • 1 pinch chili/red pepper flakes (optional) Adds heat if desired
  • 1 sprinkle lemon zest (optional) For garnish

Dippers

  • Thick slices of warmed bread
  • Lebanese, pita, or flatbread wedges
  • Crackers
  • Veggie sticks (e.g., crudités)

Instructions
 

Making the Dip

  • Place all ingredients, except the olive oil, in a food processor. Blitz on high for about 10 seconds until smooth, making sure to scrape down the sides once.
  • With the motor running, slowly pour the olive oil through the feeder. Continue blending until the dip is smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.

Serving the Dip

  • Use a shallow bowl or a plate to spread the dip to about 1.5cm thick. Create swirls with the back of a spoon where the honey and oil can pool.
  • Drizzle honey and olive oil over the dip. Sprinkle with pistachios, parsley, chili, and lemon zest. Serve right away with your favorite dippers.

Notes

Store any leftover dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Stir well before serving and add a splash of olive oil or yogurt to restore creaminess. This dip can be made a day ahead.
