Ingredients
  

Brownie Base

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Oreo cookies, coarsely chopped

Topping

  • 1 cup cookie dough (raw, for topping)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
  • In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  • Fold in the chopped Oreo cookies.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Allow to cool slightly, then spread the raw cookie dough over the top of the brownies.
  • Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or refrigerate for up to a week. Serve warm or at room temperature, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
