  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Chili flakes Adjust according to spice preference
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper To taste

Vegetables

  • 1 cup Chopped vegetables (e.g., carrots, bok choy) Feel free to vary the vegetables used

Aromatics

  • 1 inch Grated ginger (optional) For added flavor
  • 2 cloves Grated garlic or garlic powder Use garlic powder if fresh garlic is unavailable
  • 2 tablespoons Spring onion greens For garnish

Preparation

  • Prepare the dumplings according to package instructions or your homemade recipe.

Cooking

  • In a pot, heat the broth over medium heat and bring it to a simmer.
  • Add the grated ginger and garlic to the broth.
  • Stir in the soy sauce, chili flakes, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • Add the chopped vegetables to the pot and allow them to simmer until tender.
  • Once the dumplings are cooked, gently add them to the soup and heat through.

Serving

  • Ladle the soup into bowls, ensuring each serving has a generous amount of dumplings and vegetables.
  • Garnish with spring onion greens before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. For long-term storage, freeze the soup without dumplings.
