  • 4 pieces hoagie rolls
  • 8 pieces crispy chicken tenders (store-bought or homemade)
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup honey mustard sauce
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce (optional)
  • Dill pickles (optional for garnish)

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the hoagie rolls and place two crispy chicken tenders in each roll.
  • Drizzle honey mustard sauce over the chicken tenders, followed by barbecue sauce if using.
  • Top each sandwich with two slices of bacon and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the sandwiches.
  • Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Garnish with dill pickles if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

These sandwiches are best served warm straight from the oven. Pair with potato chips or a fresh salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days, and reheat in the oven to prevent sogginess.
