Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the root beer and vanilla ice cream.
  • Stir gently until the ice cream is mostly melted and the mixture is well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into popsicle molds.
  • Insert sticks and freeze for at least 4-6 hours or until solid.
  • To remove popsicles, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds, then pull the popsicles out.

Notes

For the best flavor and texture, enjoy the popsicles within a few weeks. Experiment with ratios of root beer and ice cream for icier or creamier popsicles. You can also add small pieces of candy or chocolate into the molds before freezing for an extra surprise.
