  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract Use high-quality vanilla extract for better flavor.
  • to taste chopped pistachios for garnish Optional, for presentation.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a blender, combine whole milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, pistachios, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  • Stir in pistachio paste and vanilla extract.

Churning

  • Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until creamy and firm.

Freezing and Serving

  • Transfer the gelato mixture to a container and freeze for a few hours to set.
  • Serve garnished with chopped pistachios.

Notes
