For serving

  • 1 cup Tzatziki or lemon-feta yogurt sauce
  • 2 cups Lemon orzo or rice

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine lean ground turkey, crumbled feta cheese, chopped spinach or your choice of herbs, minced garlic, diced onion, and Mediterranean spices.
  • Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into meatballs, about the size of a golf ball.
  • Place the meatballs on a lined baking sheet if using the oven, or in the basket of the air fryer.

Cooking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes in the oven or air fry for about 15-18 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Serve the meatballs hot with tzatziki or lemon-feta yogurt sauce and alongside lemon orzo or rice.

Notes

For best results, chill the mixture for 30 minutes before forming into meatballs. Use fresh herbs for enhanced flavor. If needed, consider using goat cheese or ricotta cheese instead of feta.
