  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Dough and Topping

  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough (or crescent dough)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Optional: pickles, sliced For serving

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil and cook the chopped onion until it's soft, about 3 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
  • Add the ground beef and cook until it's browned. Drain any excess grease.
  • Stir in the ketchup and mustard. Season with salt and pepper. Let the mixture cool slightly.
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. Spread the beef mixture evenly over the dough.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the beef.
  • Carefully roll the dough up jelly-roll style and slice it into 1-inch pieces.
  • Place the roll-ups cut-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Baking

  • Mix the melted butter with garlic powder and parsley, then brush it over each roll-up.
  • Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm, optionally topped with a slice of pickle.

Notes

Best served warm. Reheat leftovers in the oven or microwave. For extra flavor, consider adding chopped herbs or spices.
