  • 1 lb 1 lb of your choice of protein (chicken, beef, or tofu)
  • 2 cups 2 cups of fresh vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, or snap peas)
  • 3 tablespoons 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon of ginger, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice Cooked rice for serving

Cooking Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the protein of your choice and cook until browned and fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in the garlic powder and minced ginger, combining thoroughly.
  • Add the fresh vegetables, stirring frequently for about 5 minutes until they are tender.
  • Pour in the soy sauce and season with salt and pepper. Stir well to combine.
  • Cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  • Serve hot over a bed of cooked rice.

Notes

When serving, garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days, or freeze for up to three months. Marinating protein in soy sauce for 30 minutes before cooking can enhance flavor.
