Ingredients

Pasta

  • 12 oz elbow macaroni or pasta of choice You can substitute with any pasta like penne or rotini.

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef Can be substituted with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For cooking the beef.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor.
  • 2 cups heavy cream For a rich texture.
  • 1 cup milk To thin the sauce.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For added cheesiness.
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled For added crunch and flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

Cooking

  • Add ground beef to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and milk, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  • Stir in the cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon until melted and well combined.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.

Serving

  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. When reheating, add a little milk to help restore the creamy texture. For extra flavor, consider adding diced onions or bell peppers when cooking the beef. Use extra cheese for a richer experience.
