Ingredients
  

Pasta and Sausage

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta Can be substituted with other pasta shapes.
  • 1 lb beef sausage, sliced into bite-sized pieces Can swap with turkey or chicken sausage.

Sauce Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced For maximum flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream Can be replaced with half and half for a lighter version.
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese Use freshly grated for best results.
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sautéing the Sausage

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add the sliced beef sausage. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the sausage from the pan and set aside.

Preparing the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and Italian seasoning, sautéing for about 1 minute or until fragrant.
  • Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously. Allow the mixture to simmer for 2-3 minutes, then add the freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.

Combining Ingredients

  • Add the cooked fettuccine and sausage back to the skillet. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated in the creamy sauce. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  • Remove from heat, garnish with chopped fresh parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

Best served warm. Pair with a green salad and crusty bread for a complete meal. Allow leftovers to cool, store in airtight containers, and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
