  • 6 strips bacon Crispy and chopped after cooking.
  • 2 small boneless skinless chicken breasts Sliced thin and seasoned.
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta Rotini recommended.
  • 2 tablespoons butter For sautéing garlic.
  • 2 cups half and half For the sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons dry ranch dressing seasoning mix For flavoring the sauce.
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded For mixing in the sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced To be sautéed.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder For seasoning the chicken.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning For seasoning the chicken.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.

  • In a large skillet over low heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Set aside, reserving the drippings.
  • Slice the chicken breasts into thinner pieces and season with salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Sear in the bacon drippings over medium-high heat until golden and cooked through. Let it rest and then cube.
  • In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta until al dente. Drain once cooked.
  • In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic. Add the flour, then gradually whisk in the half and half. Stir in the ranch seasoning and cheese until smooth.
  • Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce, followed by the cubed chicken and top with crispy bacon. Serve warm.

Notes

For added flavor, garnish with extra shredded cheese and bacon. Serve with a side salad or garlic bread.
