Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 pack extra hot chicken Buldak noodles (the ones in the black packaging)
  • 375 ml boiling water
  • 5 tbsp grated mozzarella
  • 2 tbsp double cream
  • 1 spring onion, finely sliced
  • 1 tbsp oil (for frying)

Toppings

  • 1 boiled egg
  • to taste chili flakes
  • to taste sesame seeds

Instructions

Cooking

  • In a medium-sized frying pan over medium heat, add 1 tbsp of oil and then the chopped garlic. Fry until golden, stirring often to prevent burning.
  • Remove the noodles from the packet and add them to the frying pan. Pour in the boiling water and turn the heat to high.
  • Let the noodles simmer until cooked and the water has mostly evaporated. This usually takes about 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir in the sauce packet from the noodle pack, along with the grated mozzarella and double cream. If you prefer a milder dish, only add part of the sauce packet.
  • Afterward, mix in the sliced spring onion for a fresh crunch.
  • Finally, add your desired toppings, such as a boiled egg, chili flakes, and sesame seeds, if using. Serve immediately!

Notes

For the best presentation, serve your Creamy Buldak Noodles in a deep bowl. You can garnish with extra spring onions, a sprinkle of chili flakes, and a drizzle of double cream. Pairing these noodles with a side of pickled vegetables or kimchi will complement their rich flavors beautifully. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
