Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb ground chuck
  • 3 Tbsp sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp ranch dressing mix
  • cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 pieces hamburger buns

Toppings

  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Mustard
  • Mayo (for topping)

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground chuck, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese. Use your hands or a sturdy spoon to mix until well combined, but be careful not to overmix.
  • Divide the mixture into 6 equal parts and form them into hamburger patties. To maintain even cooking, ensure they are the same size and thickness. Create a small dimple in the center of each patty.

Cooking

  • Grill the patties over medium heat, using a grill pan, outdoor grill, or skillet on the stovetop. Cook to your desired doneness, checking with a meat thermometer.
  • Once cooked, let the burgers rest for a few minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.

Serving

  • Place the burgers on toasted hamburger buns and top with lettuce, tomato, mustard, and mayo.

Notes

Store leftover Crack Burgers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven or on a skillet before serving.
