  • 2 cups frozen tater tots You can use fresh tater tots if preferred.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to substitute with other cheese varieties.
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing Your favorite brand works well.
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce Choose a smoky BBQ sauce for extra flavor.
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika Adds depth to the flavor.
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season as per your preference.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper for flavor. Drain any excess grease.
  • Spread the cooked beef evenly in the bottom of a greased pie dish.
  • Drizzle ranch dressing and BBQ sauce generously over the beef.
  • Sprinkle crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  • Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese and bacon.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  • Once done, let the pie cool slightly before serving.
