  • 2 pieces ripe bananas Use overly ripe bananas for stronger flavor.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Ensure the heavy cream is cold for better churning.
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce You can use regular or salted caramel.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • a pinch salt Enhances the overall flavor.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  • In another bowl, combine heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, caramel sauce, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
  • Fold the mashed bananas into the cream mixture until fully incorporated.

Churning

  • Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  • Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.

Notes

To serve, scoop into bowls and top with extra caramel sauce, chopped nuts, or whipped cream. Garnish with fresh banana slices or sea salt. For storage, keep in an airtight container in the freezer and consume within two weeks for best quality.
