  • 4 large eggs

  • 2 cups diced apples (about 2 medium apples)
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in brown sugar until smooth.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients; mix until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the diced apples and chopped pecans.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the brownies to cool before cutting into bars and serving.

Notes
