Main Ingredients

  • 350 g Digestive biscuits Crushed into fine crumbs.
  • 300 g condensed milk Combined with melted butter.
  • 100 g salted butter, melted Used in the mixture.
  • 10 g salted butter (for topping) Drizzled on top.
  • 8 pieces Crunchie bars, chopped Mixed into the slice.
  • 200 g Milk chocolate, melted Poured over the top.

Preparation

  • Prepare an 8x8 inch tin by lining it with baking paper to help with easy removal later.
  • Crush the Digestive biscuits into fine crumbs using a rolling pin or your hands.
  • Melt the salted butter and condensed milk together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth and combined.
  • After melting, remove from heat and mix in the crushed biscuits and chopped Crunchie bars until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and press it down firmly to create a solid base.
  • Melt the milk chocolate and pour it over the top of the biscuit mixture, spreading it evenly.
  • Drizzle the remaining melted butter on top for extra richness.
  • Place the tin in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours until fully set.
  • Once set, cut into squares, serve, and enjoy your delicious Crunchie slice!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Freeze cut squares wrapped in plastic for up to a month. For a smoother texture, crush biscuits finely. Consider using dark chocolate for a less sweet slice.
