Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare the Sweet Potatoes: Peel and dice the sweet potatoes. Boil them in water until tender, then drain.
  2. Mash and Mix: Mash the sweet potatoes in a large bowl. Add the butter and mix until well incorporated. Stir in the condensed milk, light brown sugar, white sugar, honey, eggs, vanilla extract, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, and salt. Mix until smooth.
  3. Prep the Pie Shells: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the frozen pie shells on a baking sheet for stability.
  4. Fill the Shells: Pour the sweet potato mixture into the pie shells, filling them nearly to the top.
  5. Bake: Place the pies in the oven and bake for about 1 hour, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
  6. Cool and Serve: Allow the pies to cool on a wire rack for at least 2 hours before serving.
