Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce) package hot bread roll mix
  • 2 pounds pork sausage
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages pepperoni, finely chopped
  • 5 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon monosodium glutamate (MSG)
  • 1 teaspoon dried minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 eggs, beaten (for brushing)

Directions

  1. Prepare the bread roll mix according to package instructions. While the dough is resting, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the pork sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbly. Drain any excess grease.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage, chopped pepperoni, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, 2 eggs, parsley, garlic powder, MSG, minced onion, and oregano. Mix well.
  4. Roll out the bread dough on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle. Spread the sausage and cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  5. Carefully roll up the dough, starting from one of the long sides, to encase the filling. Seal the edges and place the roll seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the top of the bread roll with the beaten eggs. Bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let the bread cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
