Crown Royal Peach Cobbler

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 stick of butter28oz can of peaches (undrained)1/2 cup of sugar1/2 cup of light brown sugar2 tsp ground cinnamon1/2 cup of water3/4 cup of Crown Royal Peach whiskey3/4 cup of cold waterTbsp of cornstarch1 cup of sugar1/2 cup of light brown sugar2 tsp of vanilla extract1 1/2 cups of self rising flour2 tsp of cinnamon1/4 tsp of nutmeg and sprinkle

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place butter in a baking dish and melt in the oven.
  2. In a saucepan, combine canned peaches (with juice), sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and 1/2 cup of water. Bring to a boil.
  3. Mix Crown Royal Peach whiskey with cold water and cornstarch, then add to the saucepan. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the peach mixture into the baking dish with melted butter.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix flour, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a sprinkle of salt. Sprinkle this mixture over the peaches.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

Cook Notes: Adjust the amount of whiskey and sugar based on your taste preferences and the sweetness of the peaches.
