Ingredients:
- 1/2 stick of butter28oz can of peaches (undrained)1/2 cup of sugar1/2 cup of light brown sugar2 tsp ground cinnamon1/2 cup of water3/4 cup of Crown Royal Peach whiskey3/4 cup of cold waterTbsp of cornstarch1 cup of sugar1/2 cup of light brown sugar2 tsp of vanilla extract1 1/2 cups of self rising flour2 tsp of cinnamon1/4 tsp of nutmeg and sprinkle
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place butter in a baking dish and melt in the oven.
- In a saucepan, combine canned peaches (with juice), sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and 1/2 cup of water. Bring to a boil.
- Mix Crown Royal Peach whiskey with cold water and cornstarch, then add to the saucepan. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the peach mixture into the baking dish with melted butter.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a sprinkle of salt. Sprinkle this mixture over the peaches.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
