How to Serve

Serve this decadent dessert chilled. It’s perfect as a standalone treat or can be paired with a cup of espresso or a dessert wine for an extra touch of sophistication.

How to Store

Store the Tiramisu Toffee Dessert in the refrigerator, covered, for up to 3 days. It’s best enjoyed within this time frame to maintain its fresh taste and creamy texture.

Tips

  • Use strong brewed coffee for a more intense flavor.
  • Allow the dessert to chill for several hours before serving; this helps the flavors meld together beautifully.
  • When whipping the cream, make sure it forms stiff peaks to keep the dessert light and airy.

Prepare Time

  • Preparation Time: 30 minutes
  • Chilling Time: 4 hours
  • Total Time: 4 hours 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 (10.75 ounce) package frozen prepared pound cake, thawed and cut into 9 slices
  • 3/4 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 (1.4 ounce) bars chocolate covered English toffee, chopped

Directions

  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Spread half of the cream cheese and whipped cream mixture over the cake slices. Drizzle with half of the chocolate syrup.
  5. Sprinkle one of the chopped toffee bars over the top. Repeat the layers, ending with the remaining chopped toffee bar.
  6. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.
  7. Serve chilled.

Cook Notes

  • For a stronger coffee flavor, consider adding a tablespoon of coffee liqueur to the brewed coffee.
