Ingredients
- Butter – 1/2 cup (125 ml)
- Sugar Powder – 1/2 cup (50 gms)
- Baking Powder – 1 tsp
- Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp
- Egg Yolk – 1 pc
- Salt – 1/4 tsp
- All-Purpose Flour – 1 & 1/4 cup (130 gms)
- Strawberry Jam – as needed
Directions
- #Pre-Heat OTG for 10 mins at 180°C Add melted butter & sugar powder to a mixing bowl.
- Mix well until sugar melts.
- Add baking powder, vanilla essence, egg yolk & salt. Mix again.
- Now put a sieve on the bowl & sift all-purpose flour.
- Mix well. Break lumps if any. Chill the batter for 10 minutes.
- Thereafter add the batter to a piping bag. Keep the piping bag & nozzle ready beforehand.
- Now align parchment paper in a baking tray & start piping.
- Make a cavity on the top using a small spoon after piping.
- Bake in OTG for 15 mins at 160°C (Bajaj OTG 22 Ltr, 1200W)
- Cool down the cookies. Put strawberry jam at the top.
- Enjoy with tea or coffee.
