Fried Mashed Potato Balls




Ingredients :

  • 600 gm hard potatoes
  • 100 gm bread crumbs
  • 80 grams of flour
  • 70 grams butter
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 whole eggs
  • grated nutmeg
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation steps :


Peeled potatoes also cutting them to pieces. Heat the salted water in a saucepan and cook the potatoes in it until tender.

Drain the potatoes and mash them using a potato masher, add the butter into pieces. Dry the resulting mash on low heat for a few moments while mixing, then add the egg yolk away from the heat.

Add salt, pepper and nutmeg.Shape into balls using your hands.

Roll them in flour, then put in 2 whole eggs, put in an omelette, then in breadcrumbs.Heat oil in deep frying pan & dipping meatballs in it to golden brown.Put it on absorbent paper
