Crab Rangoon Egg Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. Garlic powder
  • ½ lb. Crab meat, flaked, cooked
  • ½ tsp. Onion powder
  • 16 oz. Cream cheese, softened
  • 3 Green onions, chopped
  • 1-2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 Egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine garlic powder, crab meat, onion powder, cream cheese, green onions, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined.
  2. Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, add a spoonful of the crab mixture in the center, and fold according to the package instructions, sealing the edges with a paste made of water and cornstarch.
  3. Heat oil in a deep fryer or a large, deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Fry the egg rolls in batches until they turn golden brown, usually 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Remove and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  6. Serve hot with sweet and sour sauce.
