- 1 package cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla or almond extract

For the Glaze:
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 to 3 tsp. milk
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Unroll one package of crescent rolls and lay flat in the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking pan, pinching seams together.

- Top with cherry pie filling.
- Unroll the second package of crescent rolls and place over the cherry layer, pinching seams together.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk to create the glaze. Drizzle over warm cake.
Cook Notes
- Substitute cherry pie filling with any fruit pie filling of your choice.
- Allow the cake to cool slightly before adding the glaze for a thicker consistency.
Variations
- Chocolate Cherry: Add chocolate chips to the cherry layer for a decadent twist.
- Lemon Cream: Use lemon pie filling instead of cherry for a citrusy flavor.
Keto Version
Substitute crescent rolls with almond flour dough and use a sugar-free pie filling and sweetener instead of powdered sugar.
Low-Carb Version
Use low-carb pastry dough and a low-sugar fruit filling. Replace powdered sugar with a suitable low-carb sweetener.
