BROWN BUTTER PECAN COOKIES

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 7 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • a pinch of salt
  • Pecan halves are at the top of each cookie

Directions :

  1. Make sure the oven is heated to 350 ° C and line 2 with parchment paper.
  2. Then beat the butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar with an electric mixer until light and creamy in color.
  3. After that, add the eggs and vanilla extract and whisk again for an additional 2 minutes. Immediately add flour, baking soda, and salt and mix until homogeneous
  4. When done, scoop the balls, using a medium-sized biscuit spoon over the prepared baking sheets and add half the pecan nuts to the top of each cookie. Bake until golden brown, about 10 to 15 minutes.
