Ingredients

Oatmeal Cookie crust

1 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup 1 cup of rolled oats

3/4 cup brown sugar

12 Tablespoons of softened butter

to make home-cooked Apple Filling Option

2 Tablespoons butter

3-4 medium apple cores peeled, peeled and diced into 1/4-inch cubes

1/3 cup Brown Sugar

3 Tablespoons of water

1 teaspoon of cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg

1 Tablespoon + 1 teaspoon cornstarch

2 Tablespoons of water

to use canned apple filling

1 can filling for apple pie

Caramel topping optional

Instructions

Preheat oven at 350 degrees F. Grease a mini muffin that is 24-cup in size. tin.

In a medium-sized pan melt butter, then add the apples, spices brown sugar, as well as the 3 Tablespoons water. Cook on medium-high temperature for about 4-6 minutes or until the apples have slightly softened.

In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with two Tablespoons water. Mix in pan and cook for another 5 minutes until the apples are soft and the filling has thickened around four to five minutes. Cool.

Mix together oats, flour as well as brown sugar into an enormous bowl. Slice the butter in the mix using a pastry cutter until the mixture appears like fine crumbles.

Sprinkle with caramel toppings If desired. Drizzle with caramel topping
